Summer Application

If you received your maximum annual amount of aid during the fall and spring semesters, you may not have eligibility for summer aid.

To receive a summer financial aid award, you must:
  • Be enrolled at least half-time (6 hours undergraduate, 3 hours graduate) in classes required for your degree to receive federal loan funds.
  • Be enrolled in required courses as of the census date on June 1, 2018. You will not be eligible for aid if you register for courses after this date including second term registration.
  • Have a valid 2017 - 2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file at USA.
  • Be enrolled in a degree, certificate, or teacher licensure program. Transient or other non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid through USA.
  • Meet the University's Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy at the end of the spring 2018 semester. Any summer financial aid previously awarded will be canceled if you do not meet the requirements.
